Julio M. Ottino, PhD

Murphy Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering, professor (by courtesy) of Mechanical Engineering, and former dean, in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, as well as a professor of Management and Organizations in the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is the founder of the Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems and numerous other university-wide initiatives, programs, and centers. Julio is member of the National Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Sciences, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
