Ryan Lynch is a maritime executive and industrial-policy economist focused on the advancement and resilience of the maritime-industrial base. His experience spans commodity trading, ship management, shipbuilding, infrastructure capital, economic security and maritime sovereignty.
As Managing Partner of the Maritime OIC group of companies, he advises investors and policy makers on allied maritime and shipbuilding capabilities. His firm’s investment efforts seek to empower the nuanced system understanding needed to rebuild American maritime adventures. Previously he served as President & CEO of Hanwha Shipping and a Managing Director within Gunvor Group. A fourth-generation American maritime advocate, he holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and a master’s in applied economics from the American University.
