Introducing Vijay Jayaraj

NCEA is glad to welcome Vijay Jayaraj to our scholars. Vijay is an environment and energy researcher whose work sits where climate science, energy development and public policy meet, and he brings that perspective to NCEA's research.
Vijay serves as a Science and Research Associate at the CO2 Coalition, a Virginia-based nonprofit. His columns appear in The Washington Times, The Daily Signal, The Daily Caller, The Hill and a dozen other outlets around the world.
His background is both academic and practical. At the University of British Columbia, his research examined the impact of climate change on the global fisheries economy. As an energy consultant in India, he worked on a wide range of energy issues, from urban climate adaptation to sustainability programs. He is also a research associate at the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation.
Vijay holds a postgraduate degree in energy from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, a master's in environment from the University of East Anglia, and a bachelor's degree in engineering from India.
His first work for NCEA is on the way. In the meantime, you can read more about his background on his scholar profile.
